The Cozy Cabinet's Blanket Drive & Outreach Initiative is now 11 years strong! Thanks for your support and particpation as we continue to grow in helping those in need! Cozy Cabinet goes beyond just a physical cabinet. It represents a symbol of hope, compassion, and solidarity within a community.

2023 Blanket Drive/Drop-off

The Cozy Cabinet is where the spirit of generosity and kindness thrives! The annual donation drive is back to collect donations to support homeless veterans who are undergoing rehabilitation. The focus of the drive is to gather blankets to provide warmth and comfort to these individuals who are in need. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of these veterans who have served our country and are now in a difficult situation. Join Julie in this effort to show appreciation and support for those who have sacrificed so much for our nation. Your dedicated support and participation means so much to the homeless veterans who receive blankets every year. The smiles on their faces are a testament to what an organized event can do, even annually. You can bring your blanket donation to the designated drop-off location and receive a token of appreciation from Julie, just like in previous years. Kindly complete this form (by December 19th) for the opportunity to contribute to the donation drive scheduled for December 23rd. Your participation will greatly assist Julie in estimating the number of thank you gifts to arrange and ensure an accurate count for the rehabilitation facility.

While we generally do not accept monetary donations, we offer an alternative for those unable to visit in person. If you are out of town, you have the option to mail in your blanket or make a donation of up to $25 through our website. For the second option, we will arrange for a blanket to be purchased for you, and a thank-you gift (with a receipt) will be mailed to you either way. However, please keep in mind that this option is exclusively available for individuals who are not currently in town during the time of the donation drive. Before using this option, please contact Julie at julie@thecozycabinet.com. She can also arrange a pick-up for those who are local but unable to drive. Please make arrangements at least 4 days before the donation drive.

Thank you for joining Juli's Cozy Cabinet! This service-driven initiative was established 11 years ago and was faithfully called "Desserts & Donations." For the first few years, Founder Julie would invite a small group of friends, family and colleagues to her home offering seasonal desserts (and sometimes her homemade vegetarian chilli) and fellowships as a thank you for their generous blank have been hosting annual donation drives to support the homeless and veterans in need.
